- they would come to a city and establish connection to the local authoraties. after that they would listen for accusations and then start an investigation

People were held by ropes like standing and then stretched with a heavy bolder.

The city is in a power struggle between catholics and protestants as well as the local authoraties which have not yet decided to side with.
|
||

Additional to this are crimes happening in the city which can be solved. The Inquisitor is acting as a police force next to the authoraties.
|
||
|
|
The end game consists of either a political frenzy between the factions as they are uncovered or an attack of the city.
|
||

## What is overreaching plot?
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
The Queen May I is in favor of catholics and uses the free lancing Inquisitors to suppress protestants followers. The players are sent as the entourage of an
|
||
|
|
Inquisitor to north of England to Berwick (Berwick-upon-Tweed) as aid to the catholic elite class. The city is under threat of an attack of Scottish armies to
|
||
|
|
be liberated of english reign. In the same year Queen MaY I will die and her sister Elizabeth I will take over the crown. This will invert the religious power structure
|
||
|
|
and make catholics targets of attack. Therfore the players must decide how to proceed. After that the coming year is all about war with spain, colonization and pirating.
|
